Padres Preparados (Prepared Parents) - Family guide to supporting children in preschool

This program is for parents with children between the ages of 3 and 5. It shows parents four easy steps for teaching their children important pre-literacy skills that support school success:

1. LABEL. Label the objects in the pictures and describe what’s happening.

2. ASK. Ask simple questions like, “What’s this? What do you do with this?”

3. REPEAT. Repeat what your child says and add details.

4. INVITE. Invite your child to share his or her ideas.

This program is in Spanish and also available with English subtitles.
