This NIH-funded research* project offers education and support to parents with young children who have ASD.
Practiced Routines will use Google Hangouts, YouTube, SoundCloud and irisEd.com to provide parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders with information, resources, training and support in:
- Application of the principles of applied behavior analysis to Improve valued family routines (community outings, meals, bedtime)
- Effectively address children’s challenging behavior
- Infusion of stress management practices such as mindful meditation, defusion, and acceptance for parents
- Building a support network for participating parents and families
